The date should be on your eye prescription.

Crazy enough to try. Never thought I could change the color of my brown eyes, so let's see if these work!
Thanks op!!

where is the rebate?

Just FYI, you almost ALWAYS have to pay for a fitting fee. I worked at an optical for 10 years, and anytime someone came in with a coupon, they come in with an eyeglasses prescription, which only gives you the prescription. It won't have any information about the curve of the eyes, if it's steep or flat. that requires a machine to measure, and after you put in the lenses, the OD will still need to check the fit, if it's too tight (meaning the lenses are too steep for the eyes) it will cut off oxygen to the eyes, and if it's too loose (meaning the lenses are too flat for the eyes), it will move around like crazy and it could fall out when you blink.

anyways, that's how those coupons work, they might be free, but you will get gouged for the fitting.

one more thing, there is only one size for the Freshlook, so that means that you might not even be able to walk away with a free pair if after the fitting, it is found that it is too loose (it's most likely going to be too loose, if there's fit problem)

I hope that helps!

Presumeably if you bring these free trial pair coupons in with you when you're getting your exam anyway then they'll have no way to gouge you for extra money?

On a side note, this coupon seems to be full of contradictions. "Requires a mail-in certificate. See rebate for details." Is it a cert. or rebate? Do I have to pay for these and then send in a rebate or does the place you get them from? Also, it says it is a limited time offer but doesn't provide any actual expiration date. Quite frankly, I've seen plenty of these free trial pair coupons and all the rest were way more straightforward than this. It doesn't really motivate me to try or buy CibaVision products! When will companies learn that if you make something difficult or confusing for consumers you're just shooting yourself in the foot?!?!

That's a bummer.

I just remembered additional obstacles. Even if you come in with a contact lense prescription, the fitting on the lenses may not be the same across the board. there are two measurements in contacts in addition to the prescription. there is something called the base curve, which is the steepness and flatness that i was talking about in the earlier post. the common ones are 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.8, 9.0. the range can be higher or lower, these are just the most common ones. certain brand will have one base curve, so either you fit them or you don't (I happen to not fit Freshlooks, cause they're too loose, I'm more of a 8.3 or 8.4)

the other measurement is diameter, the Freshlooks are 14.5.

so my point is that unless your existing contact lenses are exactly those measurements, which they will not be. you won't be able to just ask for a pair and go.

however, if you're already getting fitted for a pair of contact lenses, you could try to ask for a free pair of any disposable lenses, most places will be willing to give you a pair, and the OD will still look at the fit to make sure it fits ok (cause they can't give you any lenses that might damage your eyes) most likely, they won't charge you separately for the fitting of the trial lenses.
