The Southern Coast Air Quality Management District, did this exchange in the last two years and I exchanged my gas lawnmower to a neuton battery operated mower last year. If you have a large yard, do not even consider this exchange. I have a track home with about 2000 sqft of grass area, which needs to be mowed and it is just about enough.
For those of you who do not have lawns, find a cheap but working gas mower from a garage sale for 10-20 bucks. Add $100 to your investment. Total cost of neuton mower to you shoud be under $125. New units sell around $300. Can you say fleabay ?
