29 for me. So what happens when a 300lb dude uses a 225lb ladder?

Isn't OSHA compliance 3.3x stated load?

Huh? 10 dollars cheaper isn't a big deal?

$10 bucks pays for gas AND not having to deal with grumpy HD employees (who scatter in all directions when it appears you look like you have a question).

Bought one in July when they had the last deal. Price was 79 and sale price went to 49. Good ladder.

helluva deal - especially considering the 8' is $92

In the market for one of these. Pulled the trigger obviously.

Not that I care a whole lot, but does anyone know the difference between type I and type II?

It's used to classify the load the ladder is intended for. Type II is household/light duty. Most ladders are Type II. I'm a professional window cleaner and use Type II ladders every day; Werner makes good stuff - and for anyone wondering, this is a really good deal for a fiberglass ladder.

225 lbs load capacity? Man, I really need to go on a diet. I'm too fat for a ladder deal.

The last couple of years Home Depot has had a similar fiberglass 6' ladder for $19 on black friday. I've picked up a few of them there over the last couple of years.

If you have a Discover Card and get paper statements this month's statement has a $10 off $30 Lowe's coupon in it. Grab a filler and you're $20 OTD.
