As indicate in this post gateway coupons

Gateway 13" LCD TV is only $199.99 with coupon. Is this a good TV?

And how about the 17" LCD TV which is $499.99 with coupon?

Not to me. I went in Office Depot there was a 17" Samsung LCD tv, three function for $550.00 But I think that was a clearance item.

For about $79 you can get a VGA box from Planar or Viewsonic & use ANY lcd monitor as a tv, they come with remotes too.

Don't forget to check audio too.

I picked one of these up. It's a great TV for the money. The screen is better than I thought it would be. Some of them are unviewable from a few degrees to each side. This one does not have that problem.

I had to bring this back up, anyone who has one of these may want to sell it. They're currently going on eBay for around $300 shipped. Last month they were floating around $220, I was going to get another one and set them up twin-style for a nice PS2 arcade thing, but for $300, I had to sell it. You can turn around and buy a 15" or 17" for a few bucks more, and have a much bigger screen. I picked up a 17" HDReady Samsung for less than I sold the Gateway! But, I'll admit the PQ was better on the Gateway, it's 16ms vs. 25ms. I just didn't like the bronze color of the Gateway, though.

FYI- It cost me $19.15 for Parcel Post and $4.20 for $269/insurance from WA to PA, so plan on that if you have "handling" costs. Priority was $29 + insurance.

When you use the VGA box on a LCD monitor is the picture quality the same as a traditional CRT TV? Or better?
