This Black Friday, BB will be bringing down TV prices and having 30% off on all TVs the entire weekend. Some Exceptions.

The Sharp - AQUOS 42" 1080p LCD HDTV LC-42D62U will be $1200 OTD.
The Hewlett-Packard - 42" Plasma HDTV PL-4260 will be $850 OTD.
The Insignia™ 42" Plasma HDTV NS-42PDP will be $700 OTD.
The Magnavox - 15" HD-Ready LCD TV w/HD will be $130 OTD.

News may be true as

TheBlackFriday.com/ has similar news from a news site. See this

article = RTFA: 30% less than <font color=white style="background-color: #3E3E3E;">last year, not 30% off retail. Move along...

OP's post/rumor is not in relation to the above mentioned twice.com prediction.

These predictions have mostly been refuted by now. Bad information. Compare to here.

The price on the LC-42D62U is incredible. I paid that much for a Sony 34XS955 a little over a year ago.

alert mods

Nooooo! Now I'll have to ditch my 40-pound TV!!!!

Let's not get too excited until this can be confirmed.....30% off TV's is quite extreme, even for BF.

Nevertheless, I'll get my camping gear out if this turns out to be true! 42" 1080P LCD for $1200 is outrageous!

The sharp price is nice if this is true. But I am extremely skepticle because:

1: This is a new model
2: Retail price is like 2k, thats a 800 reduction on a fairly new product. Sharps aren't cheap quality either.

See you in south county.

Better pitch a tent and start camping out then. Last year's BF was totally out of control. We got there at 3AM and we were already like 150th in line. Then when the doors opened everyone bum rushed the doors and people were getting trampled and yelling at each other. Almost erupted into a really ugly scene.

I can't contain my skepticism. BB's current price on the Sharp is $2300; 30% off would put it at $1610. Their regular price would have to fall to $1715 within four weeks for that discount to work out. If by chance $1200 is a correct figure, they'll surely offer it on only a woefully small lot of 'em (like in the single digits--or less, haha).
