I need to move all of my extentions, plug ins, bookmarks, etc. from my laptop to my desktop firefox. Is this possible?

it's possible.. here's what I did.

For the extensions. NO way. The best solution is to use the extension "Listzilla" to save a list of your extensions so you remember which ones you had. Listzilla can also print out an HTML list so you'll get links to the homepage of each extension so you'll have the most up todate versions.

For everything else look up MozBackup. I had to wipe my drive and i was able to restore.. pretty much everything with MozBackup. Bookmarks, history, cookies, etc.

So plug-ins are going to be missing but you can install those with minimal hassle afterwards.

copy folder called Mozilla.

put it back exactly in same location on another computer.
install firefox.
