Lets try something a little different. Lets make a CD thread that anyone can update through the history field.

Lets use 2 different CD's for each Term. One that allows an opening balance UNDER $10k the other being $10k and over.

* Only post rates as APY
* Its ok to post more than one Bank in each Term
* If you dont want to us the history button, post as normal and someone will update for you.
* Please dont use Credit Unions that overly restrict membership.
* Please only USA Banks

Good idea about a community maintained list in the Quick Summary. Buy why not simply implement that idea in the existing CD rate thread. No need to start a new thread for a minor change that could be included in the existing thread.
