Same Sony Card offer as usual - receive a $100 statement credit with 8-12 weeks after your first purchase. But unlike the other current Sony Card promo which expires on 5/31/2007, this one ends on 8/31/2007.

Please Note: The first purchase MUST be an actual PURCHASE, not a balance transfer or a balance transfer check.

In the other threads, people were getting 2nd cards as well as the $100 credit.

The T&C seems to indicate the account must be opened by 8/31/07 implying a new account! But if they allow you to get a second account, then that would get you the $100 one would have to presume.

Variable rate information

The following APRs may vary monthly based on the Prime Rate:c

Purchase and Balance Transfer APR: The Prime Rate plus, as applicable, 5.99%, 9.99%, or 14.99% for outstanding and new balances after the introductory period.

Cash Advance APR: The Prime Rate plus 14.74%.

Default APR: The Prime Rate plus up to 23.99%.

Three weeks ago, I applied for the SonyCard and got a deferred decision notice.
Since so much time had passed, I figured I'd been denied, but yesterday I went online to check my Freedom Card balance, and was pleasantly surprised to find the SonyCard listed as an active account with a $4,000 CL!

Still haven't recieved the card, but at least I know it's on the way.

I applied at 5/17 and saw my new sony card account appeared online. Now I am waiting for the card to arrive, make purchase and wait to see the bonus will come or not.
