Not very hot but should be a little bonus if you don't have a 5% grocery Cash Back card.

Login into your account and the advertisement is on the front page.

"From December 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007, use your Discover Card to get 5% CashBack Bonus at grocery stores.

Get whatever you need for your holiday celebration and earn 5% CashBack Bonus on $200 in grocery store purchases."

*Sign up to earn 5% CashBack Bonus on grocery purchases from 12/1/07 (or the date on which you sign up, whichever is later) through 12/31/07, subject to a cap of $200 in purchases. These purchases must post to your account between 12/1/07 and 12/31/07. Purchases must be made at qualifying stand-alone grocery stores or supermarkets; purchases made at convenience stores, gas stations, warehouse clubs, supercenters and discount stores are not eligible. Allow up to 5 weeks for this rewards to be added to your CashBack Bonus account. You will continue to earn CashBack Bonus of up to 1% unlimited on all other purchases. Only Discover More Cardmembers are eligible to participate in this program. See CashBack Bonus Terms and Conditions for further details.

Just signed up on the website. Interestingly enough, I received a postcard from Discover about a month ago for 5% back on $200 grocery purchases from 10/1-11/31 (I think those were the dates). I assume this was targeted as I didn't even have to sign up for the promo. Already made the purchases and received the $10 bonus Cash Back. Hope my previous "targeted" offer doesn't interfere with this one...

I am not sure. I just have a regular Discover card, not gas card, not business card, and right after I logged in to check account activities I found that advertisement on the front page.

I am not sure if it is account basis either as I didn't see it until I logged in.

I think you may just login your account and see if you have it.

Chase doesn't take WalMart as grocery store while Citi does.
I wonder if Discover takes it as grocery store or not.

Hey, $10 is $10. Some grocery stores are still giving rewards on cashover.
