Read this very carefully...

1) This offer specifically states "For Southwest Airlines Employees"
2) The conversion to 'unlimited visits in 2008" is for Florida employees only.

So, this really is only good for SouthWest Airlines Employees based in Florida.

You can get a 20% discount using Southwest Rapid Rewards card.

See the Southwest website.

For this discount, you do not have to be an employee.

On the SouthWest Airlines web site, I see the link to Sea World tickets, but only for a 5% discount - not 20% - for Sea World Orlando. Is there a link for 20% off - Orlando?

Tried it New Years Eve & no go...they pull up your recept that shows what you paid online and apply it as a credit to the full rate fun cards.

I just tried this last weekend in Orlando.
I got the tix using the code, I dont work for Southwest, heck, I've never been on a southwest plane, the printout tix looked like the normal ones, it does not show how much you paid fo them.
We went to the service desk after entering the park and got the upgrade to the fun cards.

The lady did ask me how much I got them for and tried to make me pay $10 more since they were not full price but after some talking we got our fun cards and enjoyed the park for the rest of the day. all for about $47 each.
thx op, saved me a few bucks.

Just got back from Sea World. We had bought our tix using the Southwest code (found on DISboards) and were able to upgrade to a 2008 Fun Card for free. No questions or employment verification asked. We aren't Florida residents either.

We weren't even aware of this promotion and frankly lucked out that we happened to go to Sea World on New Year's Day (we had originally planned to visit a week earlier).

Looks like this one is dead. There is no Sea World Orlando on the bottom, and when you click it on the left nav menu it says We are sorry but there are no promotional items available on this page at this time. Please Click Here to view the items this promotion applies to. Bummer cuz I'm going next week too!

Just tried this yesterday (2/2/08)--bought the regular admission online using the southwestairlines code (for Adults - $46.31, Child - $37.31). Went to the ticket booth with the e-tickets and asked to upgrade to Fun Cards for the tix. No problem--she did it on the spot for no extra charge. We are FL residents though.

Did she ask for proof of FL residency?

Thanks.

We bought our tickets via this deal last month. We went to Seaworld today and they converted our tickets to fun passes. Free of charge and we are not Florida residents.

Thanks for the deal!

No, but when you buy it online, you have to put the names on the tix. They ask for ID to verify the names on the tix, so I just handed over our FL driver's licenses.

We just got back from vacation and they converted our tickets with no problem and no extra cost. A lot of other people ahead of me had to pay extra for the fun card or get the second day free option so I was a little confused but relieved why our tickets were converted without question.
