  I see:
"Breakthrough process contains 50% recycled oil as pure as the day it was first refined."

Its like the city claiming they are going to forward the cleaned sewer stuff back to the drinking water.....
and that it is ok to drink....
I would not even use it to wash the car....

I at first saw you calling the Chevron used oil.
Never mind.

Actually... they do that too. You don't think water coming out of the tap is somehow "new water," do you?

Here in Grants Pass, there is river water filtered for drinking water, and just downstream is where they filter sewer water and put it back in the Rogue River.
Where I live 8 homes on a private road we are still allowed to have our own well water, but can switch to city if needed and oh, the chlorine they use.

awesome, valid on other weights and the next gen high mileage version as well. stocked up on some 5w20 for my excursion.

rated:
Ummm i wonder where that "new" oil comes from. I much rather have refined used motor oil as its gone through the process twice!

Do your research people before looking so ignorant.

rated:
Works on NextGen Maxlife.

also for those getting 5 or more qts, valvoline is having an offer for a free dale earnhardt jr. or jimmie johnson hat if you purchase 5 qts of any valvoline oil. you can get 2 free hats so break up your orders into separate 5 qt orders for the 2 free hats. here's the link for the offer dale jr jimmie johnson free hat  free hat offer exp. 5/31

Still works for me. $1.98/qt for nextgen 5w30. Thanks op

rated:
thanks.. still works

rated:
Still works, but some how for 5w20 there's no more than 3 options to add to cart. And it does show $1.98/qt, does anyone else have this problem? Thanks op.

Had issues but it was 5w30.  I am guessing its what's in stock at that location.  5w20 I could add 8 qts.

rated:
Hopefully they honor it. I ordered a bunch for store pick up.

rated:
Zuke76 Thanks, you're right when I tried different zip code then I could add more in the cart.

I did this deal yesterday at Sterling Heights Mich, for 10w30, you have to order online though, the instant rebate in store is only 45% off which is about $2.85/quart. Green to OP.

rated:
Has anyone gotten there in store pick up email yet? I says you will get an email when your order is ready for pick up. I made two orders on saturday and still no email. Is this like Advanced Auto Parts in store pick up where they say they will email you when its ready but never do?

rated:
Got 16 qts of the 5w30, enough for two oil changes! Didn't work on the high mileage stuff, but worked fine on the regular NextGen Conventional. Paid online and it says it will arrive in store by Friday. Thanks!

They sent 2 emails and a phone call in about an hour of my online order!

My order of MAXlife NextGen 10-40 went through, Maybe it depends on the weight?

I got my e mail and they had it ready when I got there a few hours later.

12 quarts of Valvoline MaxLife NextGen High Mileage 5W30 for ~$25. SCORE!

Thanks OP.

rated:
Good deal OP, but I need a deal on some synthetic 0w20.

Currently it is about $9/qt and my new truck takes 8 qts of it!

How can it be worse than crude oil directly from a well?

rated:
I tried ordering 12 qts of the high mileage with pay-at-store. The order went through and then the next day it was cancelled with no explanation. I just tried another order for conventional (not high mileage) and this time paid online. We'll see if they decide to cancel this one too...

rated:
People need to do research before making stupid comments on recycle motor oil when they no idea how motor oil is made.

I ordered 12 quarts with pay-at-store on 4/2.  Expected pick up date 4/5.  Status stayed "submitted" for 2 weeks and order finally cancelled "at my request".  HUH?!?!  Called the 800 number which referred me to the store.  Store manager said they have "trouble with online orders" and that it may have been canceled because they only had ONE quart (for 2 weeks???). He offered to substitute the synthetic blend MaxLife since it was the same shelf price.
When I got there, not only did he substitute the synthetic, but he also gave me an even larger discount!!!

12 quarts of Valvoline synthetic 5W30 @ $1.43 a quart!!!!!!      I think I owe OP a beer.   YMMV.

It didn't work on Friday but I tried it right now and it worked! Picked up 15. Thanks!

$5.79 each but when you show it in the shopping cart, the discount will apply!

what's the limit? i'm ordering 2 cases & it's still going through

What ever is left. The amount they have will change sometimes but right now still comes up full. So order as much as you like.
This is also the original OLD version of the nextGen Maxlife. So it runs thicker and has no friction modifiers. For older cars or ones that use a little oil this is not a problem. I bought 2 cases of the 5w30 and just ordered a case of the 10w30.

I also found some Lucas Trans fluid in the oil section reduced to $2.80 a quart. Its a basic Dexron/Mercron so not good for newer cars but may be useful for others who have an older car.

And some Castrol Syntec grease is also on clearance.
