The 72-page JcPenney Black Friday 2015 ad scan has leaked. In addition to some of the great deals on home items, jewelry and apparel that shoppers have come to expect, JCPenney is also offering the chance to win one of 10 $10,000 cash prizes. Doors open at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving, which is two hours earlier than last year, and shoppers receive an entry code for the cash giveaway.
Sale prices are valid through 2 p.m. on Black Friday, but shoppers shouldn’t wait too long to shop in store if they want a chance to snag a super-savings coupon of $500 off a purchase of $500 or more while supplies last. That’s a major increase from last year’s super-savings coupon, which topped out at $100 off $100 or more. However, shoppers do have the opportunity to get that $100 off coupon this year, along with $10 off $10 or more while supplies last.
If super-savings coupons aren’t a priority, you can shop at jcp.com all day on Thanksgiving and get free shipping on purchases of more than $49 through Monday, Nov. 30. JCPenney’s free shipping threshold is usually $99, so combining those Black Friday deals with the lower shipping threshold can really make holiday shopping a little easier on your wallet. If you’re a FatWallet shopper, you can get 1.5% cash back at JCPenney.
Some of the deals in this year’s ad that caught our attention are:
- Pinnacle 20-inch hardside upright luggage (assorted colors) – $39.99
- Crosley Cruiser three-speed portable turntable – $49.99
- 60% off holiday trim and decor
- 50-60% off home decor
- Biddeford twin or full heated blanket (assorted) – $29.99
JCPenney is also known for handing out free snow globes on Black Friday, but we have not been able to confirm with the retailer whether those will be back this year. However, we have the feeling shoppers will be more interested in those $500 super-savings coupons this year.
