Kohls, the department store giant, recently released a monster press lease detailing out their 2012 Black Friday hours and holiday plans for the upcoming shopping season. The store announced that their online Black Friday sale will go live at 12:01 a.m. (yup, one minute after midnight) on Wednesday, November 21. This is kind of unique, because they are unleashing their deals two days before the big shopping rush. However, their in store shopping hours will remain the same. Kohl’s will open its doors to the public at 12 a.m. on Friday, November 23rd. Stores will be open for 24 hours straight offering shoppers more time to pick up savings.
Another cool program that they are launching this year is called, “Dream Receipts”. They are picking up the tab for one winner in every store, every day from November 23rd to December 24th. Pretty nice, huh? That means more than 36,500 winners will walk away with not only a smile, but a bag of free stuff!! Plus, their Dream Receipts program involves more than making someone’s day. For every person who likes” their Facebook page between Black Friday and Christmas Eve, Kohl’s will donate $1 to Toys for Tots, up to $500,000.
Aside from that, the store is offering lots of other fun holiday features. This year, they are expanding their toy shop by 25 percent and are offering some top brands including Disney, Leapfrog, and more. Make sure to bring your smartphones too, because Kohl’s will have free WiFi available in all stores nationwide. You can access your online shopping lists on your mobiles, and even print them out at Kohl Kiosks.
