Here is my experience on Ringplus, a cellular service that truly offers free provide cellular minutes and data.  I live in NYC, therefore the coverage is actually quite good.  In some places, the reception on my Ringplus phone is actually better than my tracfone (on Verizon network).  I guess the coverage could be an issue if you live in a less populated area.  The LTE data is also quite fast.  The voice quality is actually quite good to me and the person at the other end.  I believe that one of money making path for Ringplus is the ads played when you make a phone call and it is not intrusive at all.  Ad stops whenever the other party answers the phone.  Besides the generous free calling minutes and data, I also really appreciate Ringplus's online account management function.  It is simply the best out of all companies I have experienced including AT&T postpaid, AT&T gophone, Pageplus, H2O, Tracfone and Freedompop.

I have been using Ringplus for about four months, it is truly the best value I can find.
