I have a roughly year old Dell XPS 13 that I really like, but it has had a couple issues requiring part replacement, and it recently made some weird noises so I am concerned more issues may be on the horizon. My warranty runs out next month, and the support assistant program takes me to a Dell website where I can add a year of warranty for $79. Just curious if anyone has had luck applying coupons to warranty extensions or knows of other ways to discount these.

Before you pay for an extended warranty, check with your credit card provider (bank, credit union, etc.) . MANY credit cards will double the manufacturers warranty (Extended Warranty Program). I have a CitiBank Double Cash MasterCard which extends the warranty for two (2) additional years.

Before you buy, make the call! Phone number on back side of your card.
