What happens during this coupon scam? Does it install software on your computer?

It looks like most of them are phishing schemes to steal your personal info by having you enter into a "survey," but some might install malware on your computer just from clicking the popup and visiting the page, depending on your virus software. They also use your Facebook account for something called "like-farming" (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/news/like-farming-facebook-scams... that can open you up to malware or identity theft (since sometimes Liking a page makes you connect your Facebook account, which gives the page access to your information).
