A week ago, I purchased a set of four tires from Costco.... but my vehicle has developed a costly problem which has convinced me to replace it with a new car. It will require an engine rebuild even though it's a 2000 with only 60k miles....[rant] damn domestic crap! I will NEVER EVER buy another domestic junk ever again!!!!!![/rant]....
so would I be able to return the tires for a full refund? or do they pro-rate it? I feel really scrummy having to return used tires but hey it's not my fault my car is crap.
I keep hearing about how liberal Costco's return policy is but does it also apply to tires????

the tires should look new still if it's a week old.. i think it'll be ok.. why not just give them a call instead of asking here? It varies from store to store

So, are you going to drive it home on the rims?

Tried calling but apparently they're not open 24 hours. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border=0>

I don't know how costco will handle this, but a lot of wheel and tire shops also buy used tires. You might want to see what they offer if costco won't take them.

maybe you should save the tires for the next car. Why should costco eat the fact your too cheap to fix your car. how is this thier fault. Maybe you should just move to japan or maybe korea and live there with thier great cars.

You got your discount compared to a Honda or Toyota when you purchased the domestic junk.

It's not Costco's fault your car is crap either. Bogus returns and refunds are the reason why previously generous and liberal return policies are nearly extinct.
