What's the difference with this unit @ $20.97 everyday: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100655788/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=shelves&storeId=10051#.UKPHQORkhO0 ?

as far as I can tell, just the finish color

24 in. W x 30 in. H x 14 in. D

Too bad this isn't in-store. Prob can't take advantage of the $5 off $25 Paypal coupon... still a good price it seems. I need something to replace my rotting wood plant shelf outside.

I wondered the same thing about difference between shelving units. Also how they compare to ones in other stores for similar prices. I found a similar-looking unit at Target for $20 http://www.target.com/p/room-essentials-chrome-3-tier-shelving-u... But Target also sells the "Honey Can Do" brand (appears to be the same one advertised in this special) for $77 http://www.target.com/p/3-tier-wire-shelves-200lb/-/A-12226789#p... Would it be safe to assume there's a quality/sturdiness difference in these products? They look the same and dimensions are only negligably different. I hate to waste money on junk, but if I can drive to Target and pick it up for the same price, I might.

The wire thickness can be thinner in the Target no-name one. I bought one many years ago and still using it. Have to tolerate a little bending of those wires where I put the AV receiver on 1 of the shelves.

You really have to compare side-by-side and determine if what you use it for makes a difference. If you intend to store light weight stuff, either works fine.

One of the things to check when buying this type of shelf is to ensure it is stackable. Some are and some are not; stackable shelves will have removable fittings on the ends of the tubes and fittings that will allow stacking.

Dead. Price is back up to $54.
