A 7 is a pretty low rating for a $5 filter.

so you have something better to offer ?

FPR 9 or 10 for $ 5 ,

then show us

Would you buy an FPR 0 if it was $1? Imagine. You'd save $4! What a deal!
I can send you some. It's called open air. I can make millions by selling air for cheap...

Not everything is a deal just because the price is low. The product has to have value above and beyond the price.

I purchased these last year when they were on sale at HD online and have found that I need to replace them at least once a month, if not more frequently, as opposed to the higher quality filters I purchased at Costco on sale. Since I have 8 cheaper filters, I'm using them, grudgingly, but will soon go back to my Costco/Filtrete 1900 filters @ $10. p/u on sale. The higher quality filter last 2-3 months.

It is better to use a cheaper filter that let's more air through than the expensive ones. You should change these monthly.

I noticed that this thread was not auto-expired (even though it is now in Expired). Why don't staff consistently post using all the appropriate features of the forum?
