The handle located at the bottom of the tool moves when you are using it by putting pressure on it. So the torque that you had set previously would have to be restarted. The hand also feel of not so good material. I would recommend something different. Also the casing that it comes with does not have a top to close it nicely. Its stays open allowing the tool to come out at any time.

These seem really overpriced.  What is it about these torque wrenches that make them better than the one I bought at Harbor Freight for about $12 ?

For $35 through Amazon. The Tekton 24330 is a quality alternative to this. It comes in a plastic case for storage too.

where is this "deal"? when I look this up, it comes back at $72.
