Thanks for the heads-up. I bought one in January. Nice kit but still some small flaw.... Free cloud storage is only for 7 days, additional subscription needed for storing files more than 7 days and continues recording. It would be nice to have local, FTP or NAS storage option however none of the Arlo family camera has this feature.

If you need two and are a Costco member, they have a deal:
Arlo Smart Home HD Wireless IP Security Camera 2-Pack $269.99

I don't know if you guys are slow, or bad at comparing pictures, but the last two posters are referencing a different, inferior product. Arlo Q is an upgraded, indoor only arlo, that's more like the Nest Cam.

Couldn't agree more.  I want a wifi, battery powered outdoor camera that will record to local storage, preferably ONVIF compliant.  I don't think it exists.

Cameras suck down power pretty fast.
You can always hack your dream camera together using a raspberry pi and one of those fake security camera shells for a housing but I don't think you'd get more than a couple of hours recording out of it using normal battery packs.

The Arlo camera battery life is supposed to be +-6 months

Now 199.98
