Yes, I know it's a 2nd Gen core i3, but it's still a pretty powerful machine.  I'm currently using a core i3 2nd gen paired w/ a 120GB SSD.

Pity it is Windows 10...

OP is correct, this is pretty powerful CPU, plenty for normal office and home use. Intel HD 2000 video isn't quite good enough for minecraft for kids? Might be just good enough.

Windows 10 pro I think is a plus. Win 7 is exellent but give up and go 10, it works well enough for most things.

Thanks OP.
Still a great CPU.

Good deal, IMO. Thanks OP. I'm on the fence, only because of the form factor.

I have laptop equivalent of this. Updated with 8 go of ram & Ssd to have a nice useful pc😊

8 gb ram

Looks like RAM is expandable to 16GB if these specs are correct - plus 4 USB3.0 ports on the back, some expansion slots, etc.:

Lenovo M82 SFF chassis, machine type 3395.
Photo of the open chassis here
Maintenance manual download here
Four DIMM3 slots support up to 8GB/slot, 32GB total.
Cramped inside - only room for one optical and one 3.5" HDD. Manual says card reader assembly can be swapped out for a MSATA drive holder.
Non-standard SATA power cables - two square 4-pin ports on the motherboard feed power to the optical and hard drives.
PCI/PCI-E cards must be low-profile, half-length.

Are these the same.

Except for Win 10 Pro - Amazon one has Win 7 Thumb Drive - No OS installed.

Wondering if it comes with 1x4GB (how many slots free)?
Any good source for memory?

I pulled the trigger today. Win 10 PRO alone is worth the PC for me (need Remote Desktop capabilities - not available in Home version).

Wifi connection?

Agreed but not a deal killer.  I have a bunch of W7 machines running here at home with W7 licenses bought on eBay for circa 10-20 bucks.  Never a problem.  And while we agree W10 is a negative, some people actually like it (go figure).

Sold Out.

sold out, gone with the wind
