Wow, thanks for the informative (?) and 10 month old discussion link. As it was TL;DR, and me being acronymically challenged guess I'll wait for one of the R+ regulars to chime in with a yes/no answer. CDMA, See you See me, GSM, BDSM, I'm so confused.

Trust me when I say that Ring Plus is not for you or the person who asked the original question if you are not prepared to do a little work and read a little. First sentence: "I've had the Moto X (2015) Pure (going to call it the Moto XP from here on in) on RingPlus for a couple weeks..." So yes it works on R+. Not TL since it was answered in the first sentence? Google is your friend. Try it sometime. https://social.ringplus.net/discussion/6426/moto-x https://social.ringplus.net/discussion/5841/nexus-5x-or-6p-and-m...

Ring Plus is not for me? Oh, great. Now what do I tell my 3 mentees who will go to school tomorrow morning each with a working Ring Plus cell phone? Do they need to destroy them or just turn them off? Even more confused now.
And what is a mentee? Google might be your friend but it's not mine even though my cell phone is android, it's NOT on Ring Plus and according to some it never will be. So you can Google it if you like. Hint, I live in Florida where we have Manatees.

https://ting.com/shop/nanoc5, So where are you getting the conflicting answers from?

Also, http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2016/07/how-to-determine-which-s...
"About a month ago Sprint started listing a 3 in 1 Universal SIM cardpart number SIMOLW506C, on their website priced at $2.99 with free shipping." So, there are different SIMS for the Moto G4/G4 Plus which may be causing your confusion.

Moto G4 play: "i got my moto g4 play working. you definitely need simglw236c sim card." https://social.ringplus.net/discussion/8016/moto-g4-play-and-general-sim-questions

Good phone, but a little laggy due to Snapdragon 6 series processor. Samsung s6 much faster and probably worth the extra $ if you have.

Picked it up from BB, have been playing with it for past three days.  Using it primarily for office related stuff, plus some board games, and some vids / Netflix.  So far, 0 lag.  From what I have read online, phone chokes (or gets very hot) if you play graphics intensive games on it.

This has a snapdragon 808 chip. It's not the newest but this was a high end flagship chip not too long ago. It's the same chip that is in the LG G4 and LG v10.
