I don't think you are using it correctly.

Costco has better TP

Use this all the time. Very good for septic system. Thanks OP

I think the $1 coupon is gone...

Heads up: Recently, most TP manufacturers have cut between 1/4 to 1/2" inches off the width of a roll alone (many products like Toblerone are opting for this "secret" reduction to their products, instead of raising prices--kind of like the consumer version of the Federal Reserve which subjects Americans to a hidden tax when they print more currency).

I bought Costco Kirkland TP the other day for ~$0.50 a roll and it's still full-sized. Consumer Reports rated TP and here are the results & some buying guide info:
CR said: Rolls Are Shrinking
Since 2009, we've tested bathroom tissue several times; we looked at current products and compared the number of sheets and the size of the sheets to earlier versions, using double rolls as our benchmark. (It's the most popular size.) Shrinkage ranged from 9 to 23 percent. One brand kept size constant, but decreased the number of rolls per package. And once one company downsizes its product, others tend to follow so that their products don't appear more expensive.

Costco didn't do great in CR ratings, but Scott 1000 got THE WORST RATING by a huge margin with a score of "16"--awful.

Next, I will try to the top-rated WalMart offering (good price, too) even though I hate WalMart for other reasons (not political, but my personal shopping experiences).

Finally, I'm not sure exactly what the prices mean, as I don't think that's the cost per roll. Maybe someone could clarify??

"America's longest lasting", and not without reason! Scotts vs. leaves is almost a "head to head" competition.
