Thanks OP. I price matched Disney's The Incredibles DVD with Amazon. com (Best Buy's price was $25 and they matched Amazon's price of $15) for my son to watch and then used the $10 off on that. I was able to get the DVD for $6 out the door. Great price.
As a HU: This $10 off $10 coupon acts as a gift card (and even prints it is a gift card on the sales receipt), so it will not take away from taxes owed.
marcopolomle said: I have three in total. Can I combine them for one purchase? It should work since they are essentially Gift Cards. Has anyone tried it?It's easy to test online without completing the transaction. Let us know the result.
Faruque said: What is mean by " Best Buy $10 off $10 code via email YMMV". It means that Best Buy sent out emails and some of them included codes for $10 off a $10 or more purchase. Not everyone has or will get the $10 off $10 code...
I learned something new with this promotions. I had to return the firestick I purchased online because it wouldn't fit into the HDMI port of our older (2011) Samsung hd tv. This is a known issue if you do an online search plus I've already returned it. So I am not looking for ways to make it "work" right now.
In doing my refund, she mentioned I had used a gift card. I said, "You aren't probably supposed to return that part. It was a promotional gift card." She told me she knew that, but she had to return that part of the payment as well.
So she gave me a physical gift card to replace it. That was a pleasant surprise.
"Buy and return" is generally too much trouble, though. And YMMV on this as well. I didn't think I was entitled to it, but ok.
Got an email today with the subject "LAST CHANCE - your $10 savings expires Saturday, January 28"
Clicked on the "Get Your Code" link and the Serial and PIN were DIFFERENT from the one that I got in the original email. I redeemed the original one yesterday, and was able to redeem the new one today.
I tried twice to buy a BB gc with the $10 email and got denied, came back to this thread and found the post about the 2nd reminder email having another $10. Duracell 8 packs had a $5 gift card attached, added a $5 USB drive to get to $20. 8AA, 8AAA, 16gb USB, $5 GC for only tax. The 2nd email was in my trash!!! Would have never thought they would send a 2nd free $10 gc...
cancelled order and got a $30 netflix gc for $10 instead lol
