As usual, NEVER EVER add them to your SB account. These are resold cards and the original owner could report as lost/stolen. If so, the card and whatever else is tied to that account will be WIPED. You're better off buying new cards at a slight discount and take advantage of the different star offers.

This is the reason I either wait for a deal from a retailer or just use a Target REDcard for 5% off.

  So... stolen cards?

I've purchased many cards through them with mostly no problems. What you have to watch for is cards that expire quickly. Check the balance as soon as you get one and log the date. They will refund your purchase price for 90 days, after that you're out of luck. Raise.com is a similar outfit that guarantees purchases for a year, a much better policy. If you elect to purchase from Cardcash, make sure you are going to use the card soon.

Not worth the risk. I know a student who's gold account was cancelled because he transferred the balance to his account. Starbucks wouldn't bulge.

Wow. Talk about horror stories!!!
