Free caller-id is a half-truth in advertising. Yes, Ooma's basic plan does include caller-id; however, only the caller's phone number is displayed. If you want a name displayed then you will need to pony up for the Premier plan ($10/month).

In case anyone is wondering how much Ooma will cost per month (for the taxes & fees), just plug in your zip code here: Ooma Fee Calculator

Note that the lowest possible amount of garbage fees is $4 a month, and you can get a lot of telephone service from someone else for $50 a year...

This sounds like a good deal. For those of you who don't want to pay even $4/month, you can consider port your number to Google Voice then buy a Obihai device for around $50. I have been using this combo for over 2 years without any issue. No monthly fee at all.

It show $119.99. Is it dead ?

I switched from Vonage to Ooma and the spam phone calls dropped from 1/day to @ 2/month!
