Great device. I plan on getting another to use with two antennas. Works great on android to stream on my phone within my wifi and they just got an IOS app out. Cant comment on that but this thing is awesome. It also has show listings and times for every channel you pickup and has a slick interface. Works with Plex and other front ends. Also works with Fire TV

My suggestion for an antenna:

(Currently have refurbished for $50.00)

This antenna does not have VHF but can be added on it needed with this:

I use this amplifier with no issues:

over 802.11ac WiFi, one would need HDHomeRun EXTEND  to use over over 802.11n WiFi

Personally think this having 802.11AC is better. Most newer phones/tablets/laptops/routers support AC but not most media players/sources.
Thanks OP!

I think the box itself doesn't have wifi and needs to be plugged in, but this one needs AC because it doesn't encode the video stream so it requires more bandwidth than the other model that does encode the stream.

I use mine over Wi-Fi since it is plugged into a gigabit Ethernet port on my switch. It has plenty of bandwidth.

The HDHomeRun EXTEND (P/N: HDTC-2US-M-R) transcodes the OTA signal so it can easily be streamed via wireless N. Its also less demanding on the system/device thats receiving it from the network. You can also just hard wire into a network with one or more of these devices on it. The app works seamlessly with multiple HDHomeruns. Its an easy way to add more tuners and more antennas. Or with the HDHomeRun prime you can add in your cable channels as well. It also takes a cable card. Neat stuff!
