do they screw up a lot??

I'm trying to understand them and it seems like I have to contact them a lot to get paid right or at all?

on Tuesday.. I bought like $3,000 worth of goods from SamsClub and ebates show that I spent 3,000 but there giving me $40

The price right now for sam's is 1.5% so that should be 45??

Never had an issue with them nor with TCB (which BTW is giving 4% for online orders now)

Remember that it's pre tax/ship and you read the exclusions, right?

Exclusions: Cash Back is not available on Sam's Club Travel, Sam’s Club Pharmacy, in-store pick up (Click 'n' Pull), Tires, any merchandise or service listed under the “Services” and “Auctions” sections within SamsClub.com including, but not limited to Business Stationery, Cell Phone Plans, Check Printing, Optical, and Photo, Gift Cards. Cash Back is not available on orders deemed by Sam's Club to be for reselling purposes and high volume orders. Cash Back is not available on the purchase of Sam's Club Gift Cards or Gift Cards for other retailers.

They have been spot on for me.

The only issue was with Priceline, you MUST do a separate transaction for each hotel you purchase. Once I learned that, everything else has worked fine.

Since 2006, I've had 4 problems getting the correct cash back automatically from them.
- One was their fault (they didn't give me enough and I had to send several emails to explain it to the dismissive CSR who kept trying to tell me the amount awarded was correct without doing any actual math)
- One was the merchant's fault, they just didn't pay (Ebates credited my account immediately anyway)
- One was my fault (I thought my item was listed in a different department/category that paid more)
- One recent was (dispute filed today) occurred for yet unknown reasons (Ebates credited my account immediately anyway)

None of the amounts were significant and were usually easily resolved. It's annoying to have to gather all the info and file a dispute when it happens, but it's been so infrequent for me so far that it's not been a major concern. With one exception, customer service has been quick, knowledgeable, professional, and effective. However, I get how you'd be annoyed by not automatically getting the correct CB on most of your purchases without having to contact them. Maybe you should speak to a manager to see if there is a glitch in your account.

Ebates is a sibling company to FatWallet, and their - our - customer service specialists will be happy to help with this. Would you please send an email to memberservices@ebates.com to describe the matter?

From there, we should be able to work to resolve any discrepancy.
