I have 2,037 Rewards Points with my AmEx Premier Rewards Gold Card. What would be the best way to redeem them? AmEx gift cards require a minimum of 5,000 points to redeem and I am not interested in other gift cards. Can I charge $20.37 to this card and then redeem points as a statement credit?

Link it to Amazon and spend there. Not the best redemption rate, but an easy way to use small amounts of points.

Second this. Easy to drain this way.

You can get Old Navy and Bath and body gift cards for $10(1000pt) typically. Have to checked them?

Dump it into your Delta Skymiles account if you have one. Skymiles never expire. Or, if you do Air Canada Aeroplan, use it for a top up. You need activity every 12 months with that one.

You can transfer them to delta and buy magazines with magsformiles.com if you have no need for skymiles.

Make sure you use Shopping Cart to check out your eGift Card and select your AmEx Awards Points CC to place order. If you reload your Amazon balance they will charge to your CC and Award Points won't be used. That is what happened to me once.
