Personally, I knew about this at the beginning of the year, but it looks like it's now official. I just processed eleven payments through tio.com business as usual. I'm wondering if we'll see a change in the service offerings and/or limits soon...

The article doesn't seem to indicate any changes are on the horizon, but we all know PayPal.

Tio always had higher rates than Plastiq so basically it was a way to get around the recent ban on Plastiq payments to mortgages. Some people took advantage of a "valued customer" deal with lower rates on debit cards if you pushed enough through the system at a higher rate, but I never was interested in that much. I would have used Tio to pay down my mortgage and earn 2.625% on my Travel Rewards but since they won't pay Third Federal, that was moot.

I'm assuming OP knows what's up with TIO. I am a bit worried but I hope people like us make their bottom line fat enough that they keep us around forever. We're pure profit.

Has anyone experienced using charge smart tio to pay Honda financial before? Did you experience problems? I haven't used tio yet just wanting to hear from others and their experience. thank you
