Does anyone have experience using Naca to assist with the loan modification process. They claim to be underwriters that have agreements with many banks. Just wondering if anyone has good/bad experiences.
Good site with tons of info on loan modification. In general, they say good things about NACA there.

Maybe you will have a good experience IF you can get your meeting setup. My experience was REALLY LOUSY. I went in the 1st meeting, and was impressed because right away they set me up with an appointment that fit my schedule. However, a day before the meeting, someone called me and cancelled the meeting because they were overbooked, but no future appointment setup. Then, I had to called in (many numerous calls because the lines either busy or no one picked up), and set up a new appointment. On 2nd appointment, no one called me, so I took a day off from work to drive to oakland (their branch in bay area). When i got there, no one in the office except the lady that did the 1st meeting. She told me that the system/internet was down, so everyone was gone. She apologized for the inconvience (especially when I told her that this is my 2nd appointments and i had to take a day off from work). She asked me for my phone number. I gave home phone, cell phone, office phone number and hoping someone would call back. NOPE. I called afterward numerous time, and the same things...so I gave up.

I don't know much about the loan modification, but I did a home purchase through NACA about 6 months ago. NACA has some crazy policies and the process can move very slowly. I ended up with great terms on my loan, but it was a lot more work than a conventional lender. I'd expect a lot of delays and frustration with the loan modification as well. It still might be worth it if you have the time and energy.

Naca cancelled my appt. Here's hoping that I will fair better than others who complain that naca is overbooked and is unable to respond.
