I don't recommend getting "free" magazines from ValueMags. I work in the magazine industry so I know for a fact that they will turn around and sell your information to profit off your "free" subscription. You can get great deals on magazines without risking your information.

Be sure and check out www.magazinepricesearch.com before buying anything.

Examples:

Inc $3.48
Outdoor Photographer $3.48
Cosmopolitan $3.48
Good Housekeeping $3.75
Taste of Home $3.75
Weight Watchers $3.48
Car and Driver $3.75
Popular Science $3.75
Field and Stream $3.75
Family Circle $3.48
O, Oprah Magazine $3.75
And many more.

I don't think there's a single commercial magazine that doesn't sell their mailing list.  I expect it when subscribing to any print publication, along with phone calls every month asking me to renew my subscription at only $40 per year.  That's why I subscribe using the pärrot's name.  When somebody calls I say "He's pooping in his cage right now.  Perhaps you can call back later."

The auto-renewal is where the get you. The publisher sends renewal notices that look like bills, and people pay them all the time. They even do it to our best deal magazines customers who buy magazines direct from us. It's ridiculous.
