I had a very positive experience today at WalMart, so I thought I should post it since I spent so much time complaining about my negative experiences. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border=0>
Wal Mart has a special on their pre-cooked Prime Rib. This looks like a national sale, because they have their "Rollback" sign on it.
I don't really buy meat from WalMart, but this looked pretty good. In the prepared meat section (next to the seafood) they have packaged containers of cooked prime rib. Regularly $6.44 lb, they are marked to $2.77 lb. My 2.6 lb prime rib was $7.20....
....BUT the cashier allowed me use my $3 off any Deli and I got it for $4.20.
AND....the deli counter sliced it for me as well (I do think that having the deli slice it, and wrap it in plastic helped me to get the wine tag approved. However, I had a fabulous cashier who was just as happy as I was--about the great deal).
So, I ended up getting 2.6 lbs of cooked prime rib--sliced--for about $1.70lb.
This almost makes up for the tomato-is-a-fruit fiasco, the countless eye rolls and the numerous failed attempts at explaining what 'one coupon per purchase' means!!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border=0>
I'm going back for more--and my attitude is---if I can use the Deli Wine Tag GREAT, if not---it's still a great deal.

I have not seen that winetag. When did you get it and what is the expiration on it? Thanks.

I bought one of them--It was around 10.00 and we had it last night. It was really good. Even had leftovers!!!

I bought 10 of those $3 off any Deli item, from eBay.
The expiration is 7/31/04.
I rarely find winetags around here, so I sell some of my Sunday-insert coupons on eBay and buy winetags with the $.
