Company Overview

In 1981, Cheryl Krueger and her college roommate, Caryl Walker, opened the very first Cheryl's Cookies® in Columbus, Ohio. The modest storefront sold six kinds of cookies, along with soda pop. Within just seven years, the company broadened its offerings to include gifts and desserts, and with this growth came a new name - Cheryl&Co.®

As the company grew, new desserts were added: gourmet brownies, cakes and fancy cookies, including seasonal cut-out cookies topped with a signature buttercream frosting. Cheryl&Co. also expanded its gift business by producing seasonal catalogs filled with gift ideas for every occasion, and adding a customer-focused business gift department to better serve medium and large companies.

Today, Cheryl&Co. is a multi-faceted business comprised of retail stores in Ohio, a high-traffic Internet business and a successful Business Gift Division, all headquartered in the Columbus suburb of Westerville, Ohio. A 2005 merger enabled Cheryl&Co. to become a part of the 1-800-Flowers Family of Brands., while maintaining the company's mission to provide the finest fresh-baked gifts and desserts. The company's four divisions (Retail, Catalog, Business Gift Services and Internet) can be found at Cheryls.com.

$6.95 shipped, OP. Not free.

Is this a good cookie? I could get Pep Farm for less at the store.

They were okay. We never used the $10 card--it comes with a bunch of restrictions--so it wasn't worth it for us. Had we used the $10 card, I think it would have been worthwhile: It would cover the shipping and make a dent in the next order's shipping, so the cookies would be free. Free is good.

Cookies were no better than, say, Mrs. Field's, and maybe worse (my pregnant wife dove into them, and I think I got one of the cookies to sample). It was a nice variety, but the snickerdoodle I had lacked flavor.

Sorry if that put you off but the OP and the Title both clearly said "Plus Shipping and Handling" This is a Ohio based gourmet bakery that sells hand made cookies and brownies. I don't think you will find any gourmet company giving away free samples and a future discount coupon and pay the shipping on top.

If you know of any free food including shipping I urge you to post the deal for us all to partake in. I could use it for one.

Many thanks and have a good day!
