The next great variable pump rifle is here! If you enjoy the adaptability of the AR platform then you're going to love the M4-177. The airgun features a rifled steel barrel and shoots both pellets and BBs. The rifle's variable pump action is easy to use for right or left-handed shooters. Expect velocities up to 660 fps with BBs and 625 fps with 7.9gr, .177 caliber pellets. There is plenty of picatinny rail for mounting your favorite accessories, plus the front and rear sights and stock are removable for the ultimate in upgrade possibilities.

Somewhat interesting for the less-than-legal-age enthusiast. 600+ fps puts it in the realm of a small bird hunting rifle for older kids/teens. I would have loved to have had something like this rather than the wood stock pump-up Crossman.

Don't you dare say anything bad about my crossman 760...sniffle sniffle ;(
Man I miss that gun, best $30 I ever spent as a child...sold it for $30 in high school back in '95!
I kept my 1st BB gun, Daisy lever action carbine, and used it to teach my kids gun safety and shooting just last year.

yes, I know I added nothing---but nostalgia to this thread.

Nice. I had a 761XL with the wood stock and gold receiver. Sure do miss her. Made my day. Thanks.

Anyone know if this model will accept a scope?

It has a bunch of picatinny rails so yes you could mount a scope. May be better off with a dot sight.

$63.50 now.
