This model is really basic, and has no way for upgrading. I would recommend you to buy an elm327 compatible OBD II Bluetooth adapter instead. It costs less (around $15) and can work with your Android smartphones or Windows/Mac laptop computers. The combined power of the OBD II bluetooth adapter and your smart phone/laptop is greater than the most expensive all-in-one reader on the market.
