Tegra 2 - Tops out at Android 4.1.2. Yes, you can hack in Android 4.2.2, but don't expect future Android versions to run stable when hacked in.

I think it was a little irresponsible of Google/Motorola to drop XOOM from AOSP 4.2.x, but money talks and it's an old device. There's no reason it can't run 4.2.2 capably, but it is at the end of its performance span.

Personally, a MiFi 4510L + ASUS TF300t is going to be much better and only cost $30 to $50 more. You'll go to Tegra 3 and get transformer support plus much faster performance.
