Was in my local Home Depot (Dallas, TX) today and saw some decent ski gloves with a good gripping surface on the palms for $5 a pair.  Online they show the XX-Large size for only $3.73 (and you can select local pickup).  I found that the gloves tend
to run a bit tight, so the XX-L might be right for you if your usual size is XL.  You can try them on in store and pay $5 or order online, get the XX-L and if they don't fit, you may be able to talk the customer service person into letting you swap for the better
size at the same price.  Worst case, you pay $5, but as a good Fat Walleter, you probably want to try to get the $3.73 price first.  Don't forget about 3% FatCash CashBack.
