I purchased one of these last week from Amazon and find it very acceptable in use and performance. My review is below.

Victor V12 Financial Calculator, 10-Digit LCD (HP 12C Clone) $12.99 at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BCRRX4/ref=oh_details_o06_s...

This looks to be the regular price on Amazon, but it is a viable alternative to the HP 12C for people who aren't able or don't want to spend the additional $50 or so to buy the HP.

  • Comparable to HP12C but with larger display and lower cost
  • Executive-Style Carrying Case UPC 14751000127
  • Power Supply (2) AAA Batteries
  • Over 128 Functions

For $13 You Get a Very Good Copy of HP Financial Calculator

Amazing Value
Good Key Travel/Tactile Feedback
Nice Large Digit Display, Larger Than HP 12C
Uses AAA Batteries Instead of Button Batteries

Audible Key Feedback Ranges from Loud to None, But Tactile Feedback Is Good Enough
Commas and Decimal Points Are Way Too Small
Batteries That Came With It Were Discharged and Covered With Corrosion
Is Too Large To Fit Comfortably in Shirt Pocket, Unlike The HP 12C
