My cheap (but paid for) gas powered leaf blower walked off. I researched battery powered options. They are pricey! I narrowed down to a couple including one from Kobalt (a Lowes brand as I understand). Linked below is the higher end one with an 80-volt battery (item #419016 ). It rings in at $249. But it currently has a rebate for an extra battery. These sell for $179 each. I am looking at the trimmer that uses the same battery. I charged it, and tested and am well pleased. It has three settings for fan speed and a variable speed trigger so you can really control how much power it uses. Link to rebate. (noted that my original link won't work.... still can't get it to take so here ya go.... link to blower >>> http://www.lowes.com/pd_419016-53393-KHB+400B-06_1z0toj0__?produ...

This is not hot deal. I purchased the Kobalt 80V Blower $199 and the Chainsaw $262 last year with 1 battery rebate each. Both items workout pretty well and only take 30 minutes to recharge the battery.
