Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2400MHz PC3 19200 Desktop RAM, Red

This memory is rated for 1.65 volts instead of the standard 1.5V, meaning:

  1) it failed testing at 1.5V;

  2) if the memory shows errors, the problem can't be solved by raising the voltage.

Then there's the matter of this 2400 MHz memory being made from chips rated only for much slower speeds: review
The reviewer removed the heatsink from a 2400 MHz Corsair Vengance module (don't do that -- chips may tear off) and showed that it was made with Samsung chips rated "K0" for speed., or 1600 MHz, clock 11. This is not unique to Corsair but has been done by all manufacturers of retail RAM modules, except Samsung.
