Be warned. I believe this is the same model as Pavilion 15t from last winter. It is extremely difficult to replace the HDD with SSD. I have to take out 20+ screws.

I've got one of these. It is like the Pavilion. It isn't "extremely difficult" to replace the HDD, but it is harder than just pulling off an access panel. There's a video on youtube that shows exactly what to do. Basically, yeah, you have to pull out a lot of screws, and then run a credit card around the seam to pop the clips loose. I replaced the HDD with a 240GB Samsung 850 EVO, added 16GB of ram, and used a 2nd hard drive caddy (9.5mm) to relocate the hdd to the optical drive bay.

  Yes. You turn them on and off with the F5 key.
