This should be fine for any CPU that consumes no more than about 100-120 watts of power.  DVtest.com tried it with an AMD Athlon II X4 620, rated 95W, and at the stock speed of 2.6 GHz the CPU ran 6 Celcius hotter than with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, considered one of the best non-water coolers, but when overclocked to 3.4 GHz (probably 130 watts), the Hyper T4 made it run 27C hotter.
