For a while, they had been around $99.

looks like not really a deal.

Don't get caught putting the brace to your shoulder. Initially people were using these on AR pistols to skirt ATF short barrel rifle (SBR) regs. It wasn't long before the ATF crawfished and ruled that these effectively classify an AR pistol as an SBR if utilized as a makeshift buttstock. Good thing the OP smartly put in bold that these are to be used as a forearm braces only. That being said, there are some people that will buy them anyways...
