Just caught the end of an ad on TV for 16gb flash drives at OD for $3.99. Sorry, I did not catch what brand. I may be wrong but I believe them to be San Disk 2.0 but I'm not sure.

just picked these up even cheaper with a price match at Target. However they may be junk. There seems to be a small cache on it where you can write like 256MB at 9MB/sec, but then you hit the actual flash speed and it drops to an appalling 2-3MB/sec. In windows this shows up as a normal looking file copy, but then the speed drops to 0 for like 15 seconds while the flash drive is still writing. I plan to have this hold my music for my car deck so it should work out ok, but if I had to rewrite to this thing on any consistent bases I would return it and look elsewhere.
