This would be pretty good, but as soon as I see an optical drive, I'm out. Add more batteries and get rid of the drive!!! So frustrating that this old tech will not die.

nice deal!

Optical Drive... makes my head hurt ;(

Some still need optical drives...to watch movies that they have bought.

Personally, I don't deal with those things anymore but some still do.

Terrible reviews everywhere I look.

Having an optical drive is a pro in my book.

I dont understand why having an optical drive is such a bad thing.

The drive adds size and weight which are at a premium in a laptop. Not really a bad thing but pointless if you never use it.

Like stated above, weight and space that could be used for batteries instead of carrying around an optical drive. The optical drive should be external if it is really needed....

What are you guys still using them for anyway? I haven't used a CD or DVD in a very very long time.
