The eBay seller is listing LTE BANDS by frequencies: 700 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600

What are the LTE band numbers? 2,3,4,5,7,8?

I've found   http://willmyphonework.net/    to be pretty good with answers to questions like that.

And just to save you and others some time, yes, these work on Tmobile. THey also include band 12 support for tmobile.

Wow this is really tempting to replace a constantly resetting Galaxy S4, and dual SIM for frequent overseas travel. But ability to run Android apps on Blackberry Passport and actual keyboard sure makes that pretty compelling. Anyone here using Blackberry Passport care to chime in? My main concern with BB is camera quality as I also take lots of pics and don't want to carry an extra camera.

Well, you caught my interest - I'm a Fire Phone user but it's going to fall behind if Bezos doesn't wave his wand and say unlocko, so I'm sort of watching out for the phone's replacement.  I went around looking at reviews of the passport, and found the one-star Amazon one's particularly interesting - in fact, that's what I do now, I go to Amazon and read the one-stars and, usually, believe them enough to sway me from buying whatever it is.

The reviews are poor.  The passport overheats, is cheaply built allowing a china-refurb-industry, slow, etc.  So why do you think the BB is even a viable choice?  Or is it really a lot nicer than I'm reading?

That Passport has almost 1500 reviews and only 5% are 1 star reviews.     88% are 4 or 5 star reviews.

With 1500 reviews you're certainly going to have a % of people who had bad experiences, but thats true with any product.    Theres no reason to think the passport is a dud.

Is it really?  IPS vs AMOLED has never been a clear sale one way or the other.  Both are pretty damned good.

Wow Fire phone huh?  My wife hates hers.  Always lagging and slow.  I'm not sure if its because I put a launcher on it or what?  What did you do to yours to make it more "usable" if anything?

Cyanogenmod helps with performance.
