Been doing a lot of comp shopping, this is a very good price for some quality tools....for the hard user/professional.

If that is too rich for your blood, this is also decent, especially for the price...for the occasional use homeowner

This is a set of older tools (ie. small 3 aH batteries, motors with brushes) at a decent price. I'm going to wait for the big Christmas sales and get a modern kit.

So if Hd does anything like the last several holidays, you will able to buy the Milwaukee Fuel brushless kit for $350/$400, with another tool, and save $150. You will be getting almost the latest 5ah batteries (6ah/9 are announced), 3-speed brushless, and a tool of your choosing more so. Yes you are down a tool, and a sub-par light, but you will be much happier. You can always repeat the deal, and return the kit, as the $150 is pro-rated between the kit & tool, keep the tool at a discount

If you are going to get a cordless circular saw, you will be MUCH happier with brushless.

Just hop in your time machine and go back to this summer when HD gave you $300 the M18 tools when you bought 3 at a time. Stocked up on many of the reciprocating saw, circular saw and batteries. No deal like that on the brushless ones and I can live with the brushes.

The 50/100/150 off promo usually starts some time in October, so if you arent in a rush you could wait a little bit and see if the promo starts again this year.

I used the promo a couple years ago to stock up on Milwaukee tools. Opened an HD credit card to get 10% off initial purchase, bought one of the drill/impact driver kits, saved 10% and ~150 off the kit (hint: buy the cheapest eligible second tool).
