It's really funny that you can read most articles online, and at the same time they offer a digital subscription discount. Still remembered an English prof told the whole class that he canceled paper sub because he can read it online.

  1st page is free to read. But after that, you can read 10 articles per month without subscription. I am sure there are ways to bypass that (clearing cache, use VPN) - but I am too old for that. Anyway, I pay for it and actually feel good that I support good journalism - this election cycle proved that NYTimes still has the barb of good journalism - they have uncovered skeletons in both closets!
